Jacqueline Jossa makes first statement on ‘too much’ speculation since Dan Osborne split

EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has broken her silence on social media following the announcement of her split from husband Dan Osborne.

The 32-year-old actress took to Instagram to address speculation about their relationship, a week after the couple confirmed they had called time on their eight-year marriage.

Jossa, who was recently photographed without her wedding ring, issued a strong statement to fans amid growing rumours about the nature of their separation.

The couple, who share two daughters, have faced persistent speculation about the state of their marriage – with some claiming they had already separated before the official announcement.

Jossa has now spoken out directly to address several rumours circulating about their relationship breakdown.

Taking to Instagram, Jossa said: “What happened to in a world where you can be anything be kind ay? Daniel and I are talking constantly, there is no big feud, stop looking for one.”

The 32-year-old actress directly addressed rumours that Osborne had purchased a separate property before their split.

“He bought a house for investment purposes,” she clarified.

“You always have to try and make someone the victim and someone the villain, which just isn’t the case.

“We are a team and working to look after our beautiful children,” she continued.

Jossa fumed: “The sources, the ‘pals’, the everything else in between. Is TOOO MUCH for anyone to take. Leave us alone.”

The actress also addressed fans who had been critical of her estranged husband online.

“People who make out they are fans of me… please understand that trolling and bashing another human being isn’t okay and never will be,” she stated.

Jossa warned that those engaging in such behaviour would be “blocked and deleted” from her social media.

The couple’s initial joint statement last week confirmed they were “handling things privately” and keeping their relationship “out of the public eye”.

“They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together,” the statement read.

It emphasised that “their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents”.

Dan is believed to have moved out of the family home, while Jacqueline has remained there with their daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, six.
