David Beckham’s huge net worth as Man United, Real Madrid and England icon turns 50

David Beckham has turned 50, with the Manchester United, Real Madrid and England icon set to celebrate reaching the milestone with wife Victoria.

The football legend has long been a household name, having morphed from a sportsman to a celebrity in the years since hanging up his boots.

Beckham recently started celebrating his birthday early, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Tom Brady attending a star-studded bash with pals.

The celebrations are unlikely to end there, with Beckham and wife Victoria set to enjoy the day together.

Beckham made his debut for United back in the 1992/93 season and proceeded to spend 11 years in the first team before joining Real Madrid.

He also turned out for the likes of Preston North End, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in 2013.

Beckham became a superstar, with the 50-year-old’s dashing looks helping him make millions away from the field.

According to The Mirror, Beckham currently has an official net worth of around £338million – but that figure might actually be higher.

That’s because there hasn’t been an update on his net worth since 2021. And with Beckham’s business empires soaring, it’s even claimed he could be worth as much as £1billion.

As for wife Victoria, she made her name in the Spice Girls before embarking on a solo career.

The former pop star, 51, had a net worth of around £52m.

Beckham and his other half first started dating back in 1997, when both were in the prime years of their respective careers.

The couple tied the knot two years later at a special ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

Gary Neville was Beckham’s best man, with the couple’s oldest son, Brooklyn, being ring bearer – despite being just four months old.

During his playing days, Beckham won plenty of trophies.

He won six league titles with United, two FA Cups and the Champions League in 1999 – playing the whole match as the Red Devils stunned Bayern Munich with two late goals that year.

Beckham’s time at United ended in 2003 after falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson, with the winger moving to Real Madrid.

At Madrid, he won LaLiga in 2007 before departing to LA galaxy.

He won two MLS Cups during that time and won the Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain in 2013, the same year he retired.

Beckham also established himself as an England legend, too.

His goal against Greece in 2001 remains memorable, with that strike ensuring the Three Lions qualify for the World Cup in Japan and South Korea the following year.

Beckham made 115 appearances for his country, scoring 17 goals.
