Victoria Beckham has pointedly excluded her eldest son Brooklyn from a series of family portraits shared on Instagram following husband David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Amid rumours of a family rift, the 51-year-old fashion designer posted heartwarming snaps of herself with David and their children Romeo, Cruz and Harper on Tuesday.
Brooklyn was notably absent from the gallery after failing to attend the star-studded party at luxury London restaurant, Core.
Unlike previous occasions, Beckham did not include her usual “missing you @brooklynbeckham” message in her posts.
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz were no-shows at all of David’s birthday events last week and subsequently pulled out of attending the Met Gala. Sources claim Brooklyn felt his wife was being blamed for a rift within his family.
The couple have missed multiple celebrations, including gatherings in the Cotswolds, France and London this week and parties in Miami last month.
Saturday’s celebration at Core in Kensington saw A-list guests including Tom Cruise and David’s former teammates in attendance.
It later also emerged that Brooklyn declined an invitation to join his father on a “boys’ fishing trip” to celebrate his 50th.

The Daily Mail revealed David had invited Brooklyn on the short break six months in advance, yet his son failed to attend despite arriving in the UK the day of the trip.
“Brooklyn was asked to join them ages ago,” one source claimed. “Then he came to London in time but he didn’t go.”
Sources have suggested that Brooklyn’s decision was influenced by his wife Nicola, 30.
Despite rumours of tension, claims that Brooklyn and Nicola were rebuffed when asking to celebrate David’s birthday privately were reportedly untrue.
Sources close to Nicola told TMZ they wanted “to get together privately” to avoid Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull. The couple are said to “have a problem” with her, according to the sources.
David still offered an olive branch to his son, captioning one of his fishing trip posts: “You were missed @brooklynbeckham.”
Romeo stepped up in his older brother’s absence, delivering a speech at the London venue on Saturday.
The second Beckham son also played a key role at Wednesday’s celebration at the family’s Cotswolds home.
A photograph showed him proudly carrying candlelit cupcakes to the table.
During his speech, Romeo is understood to have told guests: “Good evening everyone. I would like to start by thanking you all for being here tonight.”
He continued: “I know without many of you in here tonight he wouldn’t be half of the man he is today. But to the man of the moment…”
David’s birthday celebrations included a technology-free fishing trip with his sons Romeo and Cruz.
“Last time boys were allowed to use their phones. Not so happy about it,” David wrote alongside a photo of his less than impressed sons.
The London party at Core continued into the early hours, prompting noise complaints from neighbours.
Two council officers visited at 3:35am after the music became increasingly loud.
Kensington and Chelsea Council told The Daily Mail: “We have a very responsive and professional team who investigate noise complaints and take action where necessary.”
