Olivia Utley introduces baby Wilfred to GB News in adorable moment as she sends message to viewers

GB News Political Correspondent Olivia Utley introduced viewers to the newest member of her family in a heartwarming moment live on air.

The new mother welcomed Wilfred George Dunnett-Stone just before Christmas, and the baby boy has now made his first visit to the GB News studio—much to the delight of host Bev Turner.

Olivia has confirmed she’ll be back on GB News in her political role at “the end of summer.”

Speaking to Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce on GB News, she said: “I see things differently now I am a mum. I mean, particularly crime, the area where we live in London is an up-and-coming part of London.

“I have really, really noticed just how dangerous it can be in some ways.

“I’ve noticed the things that I turned a blind eye to before when walking down the street. The stolen Lime Bikes, the low-level crime everywhere, the stuff in locked plastic boxes in Tesco because there’s so much shoplifting. I’ve really noticed that so much more.”

She added: “It makes me rethink where we want to live, where we want to settle down and about the future of the NHS.

“I mean, I’m very lucky I have never really been exposed to the NHS at all in my life before he was born.

“Now suddenly I’ve realised just how important it is. We talk about these long waiting lists for GPs etc.

“I was thinking about it in my job in a very theoretical sense, and now I really feel it. Well, what happens if he does get ill and I have to wait weeks and weeks to to see my GP?”

Speaking about the gorgeous little boy, Andrew pointed out what a “bonnie” child he is.

Bev said: “I’m not so keen with dogs in this studio, but this is my idea of heaven. I am loving it.”

Olivia announced that was she heading on maternity leave earlier in December before revealing she would return to GB News in September 2025.

The political expert jokingly told the pair: “‘I am so clueless about politics at the moment.

“At the moment. I barely know who the Prime Minister is. I was totally oblivious and then tuned into the local elections and it got a bit more exciting.

“This weekend, when I was reading the news for the first time, genuinely in about four months, I did start to get quite excited about coming back and seeing you all again and using my brain for something other than nap times and nappies.”
