Jeremy Clarkson is left having to fill the void left by farm manager Kaleb Cooper in the next series of Clarkson’s Farm, the season four trailer has confirmed.
After becoming a household name thanks to the Amazon series, with 2.7 million followers on Instagram alone, Cooper has embarked on a number of solo ventures away from the docuseries, including his own stage show in 2024.
In season four, the cameras follow Clarkson as he struggles to keep things running at Diddly Squat without his right-hand man after he leaves Oxfordshire to tour the country.
The trailer also gives fans a peek at the trials and tribulations Clarkson, Lisa Hogan and Charlie Ireland face as they continue to rear pigs on the farm, as well as embark on the 65-year-old’s quest to buy his own pub.
There is also a cameo from none other than Richard Hammond in the upcoming series, but the biggest talking point is undoubtedly the introduction of an all-new Clarkson’s Farm star who lends a hand to Clarkson in Cooper’s absence.
“I want to make it plain that I am absolutely thrilled to bits for Kaleb. But, he has left me just a little bit in the lurch,” Clarkson says as the trailer kicks off.

Clips then show Cooper revelling in applause at one of his stage shows while Clarkson struggles to get to grips with his pigs.
“Please come on! It’s soaking wet and freezing cold, come on,” he pleads while shaking a bag of food outside one of the pens.
Eventually, Clarkson concedes to land agent Ireland: “I’ve got to admit, I’m having a tottering time. While Kaleb’s away, I’m going to need a hand.”
Moments later, a new farmhand enters Clarkson’s office as he does his best to give her a sense of what life is like working at Diddly Squat.
“You’ve seen Clarkson’s Farm?” he asks, to which she sheepishly replies: “Yeah… No.”
But before long, it appears that her lack of knowledge of the show doesn’t stop her from getting her hands dirty on the farm, leading Clarkson to say to Ireland: “She’s brilliant.”
There’s even time for a bit of banter with Clarkson in Cooper-esque style, with the new farmhand asking: “Should I trim your eyebrows?”
“What’s the matter with my eyebrows?” an insulted Clarkson replies, to which the series newcomer says: “Are you kidding?”
As the trailer unravels, Clarkson’s Farm fans witness the early days of Clarkson’s decision to buy his own pub in the Cotswolds.
Taking Hogan on a tour, the wreck is plain to see. “Now, I’ve got to be honest, when I first looked around, that hadn’t fallen down,” he tells her.
Hogan isn’t impressed. “The only thing that would help this s***hole is a wrecking ball,” she remarks.
In typical Clarkson fashion, fans also see him put a tight deadline on trusty builder Alan. “I want to get it open by the August bank holiday,” Clarkson tells him, to which Alan bluntly responds: “F***ing hell.”
The trailer ends with the chaotic pub launch. A chef tells Clarkson lunch service is a “total bust” and the pub is left without gas or power.
In true Clarkson’s Farm fashion, an exasperated Clarkson can only look on as chaos unravels around him.
Luckily for Cooper fans, though, the young farmer does return to Diddly Squat to resume his role as farm manager alongside Clarkson and the new farmhand.
Episodes one to four of Clarkson’s Farm season four are available to stream on Prime Video from May 23. Five and six arrive on May 30 and the penultimate and final episodes of the series drop on June 6.
