Lorraine Kelly shared a sweet update following her surgery and hospital stint, detailing her hopes of returning to her self-titled ITV chat show.
The 65-year-old presenter had previously explained on social media that she underwent a “preventative” procedure as she thanked the NHS.
The Scottish host has been absent from her show Lorraine as she recovers following the surgery.
She explained in the initial update two weeks ago that she’d had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, emphasising she was being “very well looked after”.
On Monday, she took to Instagram once again to post an adorable snap of herself relaxing with her granddaughter Billie.
The two are grinning at the camera while lying in bed, with Kelly captioning the post: “Thanks so much for all your get well wishes.”
The post continued: “Billie providing the best medicine ever with lots of cuddles for her granny.
“Hopefully back to work on Monday. I’ve missed you #gettingbetter #love #family #granddaughter #angel #getwell.”
Kelly’s comment section was soon awash with supporting messages from fans and friends, with one writing: “Both looking gorgeous and glad to see you resting (for once)!”
“Beautiful xxx,” another added, with a third commenting: “The best medicine!”

Earlier in the month, Kelly explained to fans she was undergoing a “wee procedure” but was quick to point out it was “purely preventative”.
“Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today. I’ve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out,” she began.
The announcement continued: “It’s purely preventative. It’s going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible.
“I’m being very well looked after, and I’ll obviously see you really soon, and I’m going to be totally fine.”
The presenter is now resting and recovering at her Buckinghamshire home while being doted on by her family: husband Steve Smith and their daughter, Rosie.
Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh, who often stands in for Kelly on her show when she’s absent, also provided an update recently about her own medical procedure.
On Tuesday, Singh returned to social media for the first time after revealing she’d been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery following a ruptured appendix.
She initially mistook the illness for a stomach ache but the 47-year-old host was forced to pull out of presenting duties on Friday after her condition rapidly deteriorated.
Now, with well wishes flooding in, Singh took to Instagram to repost a message from comedian and actress Helen Lederer via the CWIP Prize Instagram page.
In the post, Lederer can be seen holding up a piece of paper with the words: “Dear Ranvir, get well soon! Love from us!”
The reposting of the image is the first time Singh has returned to Instagram since opening up about the ordeal.
