A real estate agent who appeared on Netflix’s Million Dollar Beach House has died aged 40 after being struck in a hit-and-run incident in the Hamptons.

However, authorities have not spoken to any witnesses and have no information about the type of vehicle that struck Burack.

The incident occurred on Montauk Highway near Villa Paul Restaurant, with the discovery made just before 3am.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the fatal collision to come forward as they continue their search for the driver responsible.
Burack featured in the Netflix reality series that pitted luxury real estate agents against each other in the competitive Hamptons market.
“The competition is fierce — and the drama undeniable — as a group of young and hungry agents try to seal the deal on luxury listings in the Hamptons,” according to the show’s description on Netflix.
She previously worked for Nest Seekers International, a high-end property firm operating in Manhattan and the Hamptons, before leaving over a year ago. The agency specialises in upscale properties in both locations.
Burack remained in contact with her former colleagues despite her departure from the company.
Geoff Gifkins, Hamptons regional manager for Nest Seekers, said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
“Please be kind and respectful as this is a tremendous loss to her parents and close friends.”
Paulette Corsair, a real estate agent and close family friend, told Newsday: “She was an amazing person who really cared for people. She was a hardworking real estate agent who was there for others. She was loved greatly by her friends and a close family.”
Before entering luxury real estate, Burack spent years working in her family’s commercial construction and materials business. She told Hamptons.com: “I have always been intrigued by real estate projects and decided to become a broker after my experience as a summer property manager in the summer house I would rent.”
