Sir Cliff Richard made a rare public appearance at Wimbledon on Monday, delighting fans with his remarkably youthful appearance at 84 years old.
The legendary singer attended day one of the 2025 Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, sporting a distinctive blue and white blazer paired with smart black trousers and a tie.
The reclusive star, who has largely withdrawn from public life in recent years, was photographed looking animated and cheerful at the tennis tournament.
His appearance marked one of the few occasions the British music icon has been spotted at a major public event, with Wimbledon remaining an annual fixture in his otherwise private calendar.
Fans were quick to praise the crooner’s ageless appearance on social media, with one X user writing: “Looking good for 85.”
Another agreed: “Looking fabulous as always”, while a third fan simply added: “He doesn’t age.”
However, others expressed concern for the star’s wellbeing, with the intense UK heatwave taking its toll. One person wrote: “So concerned he doesn’t get heat stroke! Please God give that man some common sense!”
His smart appearance in the jazzy blazer ensemble, complemented by white leather shoes and a belt, drew particular attention from onlookers at the prestigious tennis event.

The singer’s animated demeanour throughout the day further reinforced the impression of a man considerably younger than his 84 years.
The Move It hitmaker has maintained a notably reclusive lifestyle for nearly two decades.
In 2006, Richard sold his Surrey estate and relocated to Barbados, later dividing his time between the Caribbean island and Portugal.
He revealed to the Telegraph that whilst he enjoys returning to his homeland, he limits his UK visits to “a week here, a week there.”
The singer maintains properties in multiple locations, including an apartment in Berkshire, a New York flat, and a Portuguese farmhouse.
His preference for life abroad means British fans have few opportunities to see the rock and roll pioneer in person.
This annual pilgrimage to SW19 has become particularly significant for admirers of the veteran performer.
Wimbledon represents one of the only predictable opportunities for the public to glimpse the otherwise elusive star, who has been photographed at few major public events in recent years beyond the tennis championships.
