Emily Carver made an emotional admission on GB News today as she prepares to leave the channel for her maternity leave.

The star told The Peoples Channel that she is feeling “very emotional” about leaving, and will “miss her little interactions” with co-star Tom Harwood.

She said: “As I approach maternity leave, i am thinking more about how I will miss our little interactions every day on a daily basis.

“Sometimes our viewers say that I’m a bit mean to Tom sometimes,

“What they don’t know is that there’s a real relationship. This is far too sentimental.

“Should we get on? I think I’m getting a bit emotional.”

The GB News star has spent the weekend celebrating her birthday, and was pleasantly surprised when Tom appeared at her house with a cake.

She said: “It was very sweet of Tom to bring me a cake. I wasn’t expecting it.

“I wasn’t expecting it to be such an appropriate cake. A little girl, Connie the caterpillar.”
