GB News has secured the Best News Programme gong at the National Reality TV Awards, triumphing over broadcasters including ITV News, BBC News, Sky News and Good Morning Britain.
The victory at the 14th annual ceremony held at Porchester Hall in London was determined entirely by public voting.
The breakfast programme, presented by Eamonn Holmes, Ellie Costello and Stephen Dixon, claimed the honour at the ceremony, which attracted millions of votes from viewers across the nation.
GB News entertainment editor Alex Davies said: “Now, you might not have expected GB News to be up for an award at the National Reality TV Awards, but in the Best News category, we saw off the likes of ITV News, BBC News, Sky News, and Good Morning Britain.
“Wow, just wow. And what’s really lovely about this is that it was voted for by the public.
“We had success at the TRIC awards not too long ago, which was also publicly voted for, and now this.”
