Rocker Rod Stewart sent fans in to meltdown when he announced the final leg of his 13-year Las Vegas residency, which has now begun – but some fans seem to be cashing in on the milestone.
The Maggie May hit-maker announced 12 performances throughout March, may and June, with the first show hitting the stage on Wednesday (March 12).
Some have decided to re-sell their concert spot at sky-high prices as eager fans rush to find last-minute tickets.
Several have taken to X to advertise their tickets, with one writing on the social media platform: “Anyone interested I’ve got ROD STEWART tickets for tonight show!!! Venue: Caesars Palace – Las Vegas, NV Text me if you’re interested please! Am happy to show proof of my ticket.”
Another commented: “Hi I have 3 tickets available for tonight’s Rod Stewart Concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV (Wed, Mar 12) Please send me a DM if interested.
“I’m looking to get them off my hands either individually or together.”
A third added: “I have two tickets to Rod Stewart tonight in Vegas make me an offer I can’t refuse it is sold out message me!”
“I am selling 2 verified tickets for Rod Stewart: The Encore Shows Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Interested?” another posted.

Last year, Stewart, 80, was forced to cancel a string of gigs as well as pulling out of his 200th Las Vegas show due to medical conditions.
After announcing he had strep throat in August, he was later struck with Covid-19, and in a social media post made late he confirmed his next two US shows wouldn’t be going ahead.
The singer explained he was “absolutely gutted” about having to cancel the Vegas show but assured fans he’d be returning in 2025.
He went on to admit: “most people can work with strep throat but obviously not me”.
The cancellation came as a concern to fans as it was announced just days after Stewart had made a troubling health admission.
In November, Stewart shared his plans to scale back on gigs.
“This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me,” he explained in a post before going on to reassure fans they haven’t seen the last of him as he added: “But I have no desire to retire.”
The statement continued: “I love what I do, and I do what I love.
“I’m fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.
“I’d like to move onto a Great American Songbook, Swing Fever tour the year after next – smaller venues and more intimacy.
“But then again, I may not…” the iconic rocker signed off: “The Ambiguous Sir Rod Stewart”.
