BBC Dragons’ Den viewers fume ‘really annoying’ as repeat episode takes prime slot amid new series: ‘Again?’

Dragons’ Den was back on Thursday, with keen viewers hoping to tune into some new pitches and investment drama.

Unfortunately, fans were left disappointed to realise the show was in fact a repeat despite the show currently airing its new series.

The popular BBC programme had fans scratching their heads just minutes in after some thought they recognised the first pitch.

As the show continued, even more recognised the episode, and it didn’t take long for them to swarm social media with complaints.

Taking to X, one asked: “#dragonsden This is a repeat isn’t it? Tell me I’m not going mad.”

“Another repeat. what happened to the new series? #dragonsden,” a second echoed.

“Wait this is a repeat #dragonsden,” another pointed out, with someone else sharing: “New series? this is another repeat.. #dragonsden.”

“Why do they randomly show a repeat in the middle of the new series… really annoying #dragonsden,” someone else fumed.

The entrepreneur, who joined the BBC show in 2019, declared the update in an Instagram post last Thursday.

The statement continued: “It means seeing through your investment and committing to your part in that organisation. It’s so much more than a TV show.

“That’s why I’ve taken the decision to step away from the Den for now, to focus on my own business, which was my first baby!”
