GB News presenter Tatiana Sanchez has been honoured at this year’s Charles Gordon London Community Excellence Awards.
Tatiana won the TV Excellence Award and received her gong during a glittering ceremony at the Grand Sapphire Hotel.
Reacting to receiving the award, she said: “I feel honoured and grateful.
“Honestly, I was so surprised when I heard my name called as a winner because I won alongside the talented and amazing Remel London.”
She added: “She is such an inspiration, so to be recognised for my work alongside Remel is an honour.
“I have been presenting news and sport for over 10 years now and I, like so many, have had my ups and downs…such is life.
“But this award really humbled me, and I am so thankful for the recognition and for anyone who voted for me. Thank you.”
The event was attended by the singer Kele Le Roc, comedian Kojo Anim, and entrepreneur and TV star Levi Roots.
Also in attendance were boxing legend Duke McKenzie, the actor and presenter Richard Blackwood, the actor Aml Ameen, businessman Wade Lyn and Paul Gomez, former High Commissioner of the Bahamas.
Following the ceremony, the award-winning presenter wrote on social media: “What an evening celebrating so many amazing people at the cgtawards.”
Tatiana joined the channel in January 2022.
Her award comes after GB News’ National Reporter, Jack Carson, was nominated for the Journalist of the Year award at the prestigious Royal Television Society’s Midlands awards.
